With the F145-3, Parker Meggitt has introduced the latest generation of its underwing pressure refuelling coupling (single point, ISO45) – and we now have it in our product range.
The F145-3 is smaller and lighter than its predecessors, yet retains the strength, durability and ruggedness of the proven F116/F117 and HU3000/HU4000 series. During refuelling it ensures a leak-tight connection to the aircraft adapter.
The key specifications:
- Designed and tested to SAE specification AS5877 Rev B
- 6-slot connector, matching the international 3-lug ISO45 aircraft adapter
- Compatible with the complete range of accessories for the F116 and F117 couplings; nose seal and handles interchangeable with the F117
- Maximum working pressure 10.3 bar (150 psi), operating temperature −37 °C to +71 °C
- Extended operating handle for easier handling, weight only 2.7 kg
- Positive locking mechanism in the coupling body: it can only be opened with the adapter connected and only disconnected with the handle closed
